Well, Jeanine officially "failed" Fostering 101 - but
Edmund (or Eddie as he's called) knew he was going to
be a permanent member of the family right away.  On
day one he made himself at home with Remy - they still
love to sleep next to each other.  They're great buddies
and it's taken years off Remy (aka. Surly Greyhound) to
have this silly, young greyhound around.

Eddie is a gem - he's a sweet boy who happens to be a
GIANT.  He loves to rub against your leg, just like a cat,
so he's earned the nickname of "Kitty Dog"...well, that
and "Monkey".  Eddie is all legs, so when he runs and
gets happy, he looks absolutely ridiculous.  Seriously, he
can't keep his feet on the ground when he's happy.  And
he's still a puppy at 2 1/2 as evidenced by his use of the
living room as a racetrack.

Eddie is also a comedian - and he makes Jeanine laugh
every day.  Remy gets a little jealous, though, so now it's
almost a competition to see who can act the goofiest -
and Eddie has even convinced Remy to talk (roo) more
than ever!
Looks can be deceiving...I look like a
little angel here, don't I.  Hee, hee, hee.
So, I wonder if Eddie is feeling "at
home" yet?  Hmmm...

Typical greyhound behavior - for about
18 hours a day or so...
What a face...see, Eddie does have his
graceful moments...
Mmmm...rawhide...  This was before
Eddie discovered that he could chew
and lie down at the same time.  He
stayed like this while he ate the rawhide.
Upside-down-dog in his new bolster
bed.  Spoiled greyhound...(smile).
So, are you sensing a theme with all
the "Eddie sleeping" photos?
This dog always sleeps with his tongue
hanging out - and even when he wakes
up, he forgets to put it back in his mouth!
